My name is Mark and I live in Woodbury MN. Wifey gave me a GPS for my birthday a year ago and I didn't like that one so I started the search for something better.
Great site. I decided upon the TomTom based upon what I have read here and have already solved one problem by reading here verses calling TT tech support who has been unable to answer 2 of 2 questions. I'm Presently working on getting my 720 to repsond to voice commands. Only have the latest map upgrade to downlaod and I'm good to go.
I needed a GPS to help me on my job. I work in the mining business and travel all over to reach various mine sites. To say that the mine sites are remotely located is an understatement. The Garmin Nuvi 350 I had prior to this couldn't find one of the mine sites. I tried the TT at a box retailer and it was able to find a couple of the places I could remember.
Hopefully I can get the right map upgrade and also solve my pesty POI phone number issue and then I am good to go.
Thanks to those who have unknowingly helped me out so far.
