My year old 930T doesn't talk to me when it navigates. Sound is on, voices are selected (and heard when tested), main speaker is selected, volume is 100%. Yet only silence, no audible instructions. Any suggestions?

Do you have a computer voice selected? Under voice preferences, do you have 'speak aloud street names'?

Have you tried a pin reset on the unit?

Do you have a computer voice selected?

Alternatively, do you NOT have a computer voice selected?!

In other words, try both... Different problems can sometimes cause one or the other to fail but not both.

Have you got a set of headphones with a 1/8" jack plug, try that in the TomTom with the speaker preferences set to line-out, if that works and you still get no sound when switching back to internal speaker with the headset unplugged the internal amp, speaker of line out socket is shot - Mike
