Go740 - Meaning of TomTom Home message

My Go 740 has the North American 2GB map. TomTom Home has a message: "Your map has not been updated for more than 20 weeks. Unfortunately Map Share map corrections are temporarily not available."

I believe that I have the latest map installed and just wish to know the meaning of the message to ascertain that I can update in the future. I have purchased TomTom's lifetime map updates.

I have installed an 8GB HCSD card and have the 2GB map on it. Just curious if TomTom will have different size versions of maps available in the future that would correspond with size of memoery available.

That message is faulty and happens for everyone who just updated their map.

At some point when you connect to Home, that message will disappear and mapshares for that model will again be offered.

Your card size is more than enough..........
