GO700 not pairing with PPC6700...Help

I have a Go 700 with bluetooth and I am trying to pair with my Sprint PPC6700 phone (UTSTarcom6700 or Audiovox 6700) and have been unsuccessful. I have the latest code for both the tomtom and phone but still no luck. I can pair my Razor with no problem but I don't have internet installed on that phone (wife's phone), my phone (6700) does have internet. Has anyone tried to pair these two together or have any hints why it might not be working? Thanks.
