Go620 Bluetooth

Hi Guys.

Forgive me for maybe being very naive.
I have a TomTom Go620 for my lorry.
I need live updates as I’m out on the road all day.

I’ve connected my Go620 to the Bluetooth on my iPhone.
It keeps saying (flashing on and off) connected (then) disconnected.

1) this surely isn’t normal

2) am I right in thinking the live updates come from the data off your phone once you’ve connected your Tomtom and phone via Bluetooth.

Hi
Instead of using a Bluetooth connection, use your phone's Wi-Fi hotspot.

I’m in a lot of quarries and valleys, I’m guessing when it loses signal, it’ll happily connect back on to the WiFi hotspot when it finds reception?
