Is there any news this year about new GPS devices for cars or trucks?

No information on upcoming new features, Tomtom never communicates on the release of a new GPS.

The last 'higher end' release was the Expert Plus 7", and hasn't been out that long. I wouldn't expect to see any new "truck" hardware for quite a while unless they release a 'mid end' piece of hardware later this year.

Moving forward, I wonder whether TomTom will focus on its map and traffic business, throwing those into the mix of phone apps they've been working on, and continue to focus less and less on hardware. They've already abandoned pretty much the entire globe for hardware sales apart from Europe. I doubt we'll ever see another new TomTom here in North America unless it comes in 'gray market'. Per their annual reports, they don't make any money on hardware, and seem happy enough to cede that market to Garmin, who have a much broader hardware line, in this part of the world.

Yes I feel to less priority on hardware, and no news on new devices is sad
