I purchased a GO 920 in 2008 and I have sent it once for warranty service for the battery and now after 2 years, my device will not turn on even with the help of TomTom Tech support. Tech Support informed me since my device is out of warranty, they can offer me a $100 discount to purchase a new one. I kinda laugh after he offered me the discount, I asked him, should I expect to replace my device every 2-3 years because you can't repair it, he said "yes".
