GO 920
Hello, I have just purchased my GO 920 from an Ebay seller. The GO 920 was from USA and the seller has added the Australia Map 700.1491 and shipped the item to me. The 920 is now running version 8.010. The TT Home is v2.3

I have removed & saved the USA & Europe maps to TT HOME on the pc, leaving Aust, NZ & Guam.

If I select Australia maps it says "PROBLEM WITH MAP you can not use this map on the device:AUSTRALIA" with the Australia map highlighted you click done and it just goes back to the opening page of TT HOME. If I select GUAM the emulator and operate my go works fine. It also wont Keep selected Voice and the saved car icon, these last 2 I have read about in the forum. It also wont keep the MY Favorites POI's that i have saved via google maps transmitting location to the TT HOME 2.3. This is a very handy tool and saves min of manual input. this is what im trying to get working as it save heaps of time with POI inputs.

The GO920 seems to be working in all other areas in manual mode, Inputs, VR, RC, Australia Map and Ozzie Ken Voice giving clear direction around my home town. I've only had it a week so i still havent worked out all the bugs.
So any advise would be appreciated.
Thanks
Jon

I trust you made a complete Windows Explorer backup of your machine before you did any modifications.

Did you do an Update my GO when connected to HOME.

Are all your maps in Internal memory or are you using a SD card.

At Ist i did do the back up, then later on after i removed maps to the pc i did that again. And yes i did do an Update my go. Is the problem im having with the version of map (700.1491 Aust) Because the installed GUAM map works fine with emulator? and operate my go. All maps are internal on the GO and the removed maps are stored on the TT directory.

I'm using a 930 with 805.1801 NA and W+CE maps.
I was hoping a little more detail will get others, with the same hardware/map combination, to jump in here.

Makes it sound as if it was a North American 920 model and the Australian map was not installed properly. Probably, something else, though.
