GO 910 screen fads to balck

Has anyone experienced a TomTom GO910 screen that fads to black after 30 seconds or so? You tap the screen and you get another 30 seconds.

Doesn't do this on the computer cradle.

Do I have a setting wrong?

Have a look at Change Preferences/ Battery saving preferences, is there anything selected to dim the screen between instructions, if so de-select it - Mike
