GO 740 Bluetooth Pairing Problem

I had no problem in pairing and using the 740 with my old Motorola Razor V3. I however cannot pair the Go 740 with my Pantech Ease cell phone. I used code "0000" and no code, to no avail. Appreciate your replies.

TT only offer a rather limited list of compatible phones at http://www.tomtom.com/phones/compatibility/phones.php

They say:

Phone not listed?? The phones on this list have been tested by TomTom. While it may be possible to use others, we cannot offer any support for phones not listed.

Very poor really....
