GO 730 No Start

Programmed Itineary from Canada to Home (Florida)

On Initial start TT would not go past the welcome screen and never lock on. Also did not respond to OFF button.
Pushed RESET and unit turned off.
Thought mabe unit was too cold and after a while tried again. Same result.
Connected to HOME and TT started from day one (first ever start with language, etc) but appeared to work ok. Did a proper shut down and disconnect and then tried again. Identical results.

Any ideas out there.... or is this anather failure?

You could try this:

1. Make a complete Explorer, not Home, backup of your unit's contents. Ensure hidden files/folders are showing.
2. Format the unit. Don't use quickformat.
3. Restore the contents with Explorer and see if that helps.

Thanks, that solved the "No Start" problem and everything works. Used it all day with several stops and had no problems.
