GO 730 no longer showing UK safety cameras

Hi All
I recently updated my GO730 maps to 8.35, but since doing so I no longer get markers (icons or sounds) for UK safety cameras. The option isn't in the POI's list on the device either.
When I open the device to windows explorer I can see the following:
Safety_Cam_UK_TomTom.ov2
Safety_Cam_UK_TomTom.ov2.dct
Safety_Cam_UK_TomTom.ov2.ver

When on the older map the cameras worked fine, and when I replaced the map files back on to the device they worked again .... yet with the new map (and only copying the map files over) the cameras don't appear.

Any help would be appreciated

Do you have safety cameras in HOME under "add traffic, voices " -> "safety cameras"? Try adding the from that screen as it's possible that they need to be reactivated by HOME for the new map.

Go to TomTom Plus services/ Safety Cameras and set the warning options for the cameras in that section, for some reason TomTom elected to change how the safety cameras are configured although this change was quite some time ago - Mike
