I just took my new Go 720 on a 5,000 Mile trip from Minneapolis to North Caroline on to South Florida and back home in three weeks.
Here are some observations. Overall I was very impressed.

I used traffic with Bluetooth on a Sprint Treo 755P.
It worked flawless and was very impressed.
Amazing even the voice recogntion worked. When it found a traffic delay it asked me if I wanted to route an alternative path. The voice Icon came up and I said no and it continued without a reroute.

I had it set on default for Quickest route. It did take me on a couple highways that had lower speedlimits and traffic lights. It would be nice to have an option to only use major highways like I95 and I75.

I found a really cool case from Amazon for 1.00 it is the Compaq case and it fits the 720 perfect. Awesome and beatiful case for $6.00 shipped.
It protected my 720 since I put it in my center consol of my Hummer and it piut a nice dent in the case and only slightly dented the face plate on the 720 Without the case would have been much worse. I need to see if I can get a replcement face plate for the 720. Here it is if anyone is interested.

I loaded some POI's and they worked great. I love the notification feature I had it setup for breweries and everytime I passed one it had Homer Simpson sayin mmmm Beer LOL.

Overall very impressed with my investment of the 720 and love the hack for voice recognition.

Now I am going to look for some Pro Clips for my vehicles.

Believe it or not not that bad. Cheaper then flying. It is an H3 so not one of the gas guzzling Hummers. I got about 19.7 on average. Not to bad. I am still figuring it out but I am thinking about 800.00

Keep in mind if I would have flown I would still need a rental car and gas?
I like driving so it was a lot of fun. I made sure to have plenty of gadgets to keep me busy and occupied ;-)
GPS, XM, Ipod, Bluetooth.

Thanks,
Mark
