go 700 froze

Got a go 700 didnt have safety cameras installed bought a disc and tried to install safety cameras but think i got it wrong, deleted file from the tomtom and now just have a frozen screen, help please, saz

What file did you delete from the unit?

I didnt delete anything that was there in the first place, it was an add on, on a disk i got after the tomtom

I only deleted the speed camera file that I had put on from the disc because I think I put the wrong file on but now the screen is locked up and the unit keeps switching itself on and off but I can't use the touch screen as its frozen HELP!

Have you got a backup by any chance?

And can you connect the unit to the computer (NOT starting Home).
