GO 630 Voice Issues

I have had this happen a couple of times. Turn the unit on in car, set destination, and there is no voice giving directions. Check voice settings and voice is enabled. Only was to fix is to select another voice and then go back. Did not touch the unit since the last time I used it. Any idea as to why this is happening?

Had you recently done an update of some file (mapshare? gps file?) using Home?

If so, the dumb program is known to cause certain settings to be lost when you disconnect the unit.

That may be true. I will watch and let you know if it occures again.
