Go 630 Locked Up after first update

I have now locked up 2 Go630's after the initial update via TomTom Home. I spent 1 hour with tech support for the first unit but only go the the unit back about 85% with some key functions missing. Anyone else have the same problem?:mad:
 
Did you update your applications to 8.3? This eliminates a few functions, but should not have locked up the units (and only "85%" functional sounds odd also).

You may want to "roll back" the application to 8.01 or another earlier version. The forum has many posts on how to do that. I do not know if support suggested that, but it has worked for many.

I would guess that support had you do a "dhn"(pin) reset on both, and also a "clear-flash" of the units. if they are still locked and/or not fully functional to an unacceptable degree, you might consider returning them if you are withing the usual 30 day return period.

If you are within the 30 day window, you will also be within the 30 day map guarantee for a free new map upgrade. If you can get the units working OK soon, make sure yoy take advantage of this before the 30 days expire.
