GO 510 SD card

I was hoping somebody could help. My GO 510 has suddenly stopped recognising the SD card. I have tried the soft reset but it still hasn't helped. The SD card doesn't seem to be corrupted as the computer still recognises it. Is this the end of my tomtom?

Do you have another sd card you can copy the contents of this sd card to? Then try booting the unit with the other sd card in it.

Also, if the unit is not seeing the current sd card, does that mean the unit is not booting up at all (since it isn't seeing the application). What error message is it giving?

It is showing the graphic of the SD card being removed from the tomtom and then a red cross through the SD card.

Since you say you can see the contents of the card using Windows, make an Explorer backup of the unit's contents, ensuring that hidden folders/files are showing.

Once done, try formatting the sd card. Don't use quickformat. Then restore the Explorer backup.
