go 300 locked up

I have a go 300 unit, has worked fine over time. the other day I downloaded the new home software and it updated my unit but when it booted it locked up at the splash screen.

tried resets, same thing, tried reloading from a backup of my card, no joy. tried the flash erase tool, no joy.

any ideas?

If you did a restore, that is odd (unless it needed a reformat and a clean install).

But first, can you access it with home when you connect to your computer?

If so, use Home to delete the current application, and then use home to download and install a new one.

Be careful then when you disconnect - that can sometimes corrupt your unit.

If all fails, consider reformatting the unit and doing a clean re-install of your backup (cut-and-paste).
