Go 2535 World Edition

I have had series of issues with this unit and so far managed to get around them. But this one is beyond me.
I bought this unit about 3 weeks ago and could not register it via the web for map update. Just yesterday i tried again to have it registered as I thought, and the system kicked off a download process that ended up presenting me with an option to select my map with only "European" listed as the only option. I am in Washington DC. I need a US map not EU maps. When I tried to bypass that by simply turning the unit off and On but the problem persist.
Any help please?

Did you use a new email address for the unit when you registered, meaning one not used for a previous unit?

Did you have USA_Canada_Mexico selected as the active map on the unit when you tried to update?

Try clearing your cache and trying again.
