Had this device for 4 years and I performed a software update on the weekend, it's has bricked my device so it will not boot up! It just stays on the start up picture. I have spoken to customer non service and I have run through their reset procedure but nothing. I elevated it to a supervisor and had an email today blaming the memory saying it can corrupt at any time and I will have to pay £100 to fix it. I believe the update caused this problem and I am thinking of taking TomTom to small claims court to recover the cost of the device. Any advice or thoughts. Anyone else had this problem.
