I have a Go910 and have just broken my 2nd window suction mount :(

I turned the locking mechanism too far and cracked the piece of plastic that holds the suction cup to the rest of the mount...

Can anyone recommend a new mount keeping in mind the following:
  • I have a tmc/rds antenna
  • I use the external microphone
  • I sometimes use the speaker output
  • I park my car in a public garage at work and need to remove the Go910 from my car and I don't want to have to (dis)connect the cables each time

Any help would be appreciated

Your options are rather limited, as the 910 does not have an USB connector like most of the newer models. You have to with the plug-in part of the adapter (don't throw them out) that came with your unit to operate everything. You have two basic choices (although if you search the forum enough, you may find some individual home wired options):

1. Get another window suction mount and a NavMap base that you can attach it to. it is not pretty - but it works and I use one. You can pick it up when you park and put it on the car floor when you park, so it should not be visible. You don't have to disconnect anything that way.

2. You could get a RAM mount kit (they have a number of mounting options). You would then need the adapter part you have from the broken unit to use a s a means of hooking up the 910. The RAM cradle for the 910 is opn right were you would connect that piece.
