Froze up

I was down loading a updated version of the maps for the United States. It
looks like the down load was suggessful but I can't get the Tom Tom unit to
get off the start up window. I have tried with the unit hooked to the car and
the computer but it doesn't move. The computer acts like the Tom Tom
unit it hooked in. It isn't reading the device. Does any body have a suggestion how I can get it unfozen.

Unsure if you TT has "reset" hole on bottom--insert paperclip and listen for click, then turn off.
