Just saw this POIs free give away and thought I would share it with you guys. I don't know how good the POI download would be but it's free and you can't argue with that!
From Navtones: "Tomtom users in the UK can now download a free set of family friendly points of interest (POI).
Research from 'Enjoy England', the official tourist site for the UK, suggests that more than five million people are considering a holiday at home this year rather than going abroad.
The POIs, which are available on the Enjoy England site, are said to help families save time and help them find new places to explore around the UK.
They have been developed in aid of National Family Week, which encourages families to spend time together and give information about venues and attractions around the country.
These include beaches, theme parks, campsites and wildlife centers as well as 5,000 attractions and more than 500 Tourist Information Centers.
Tomtom representative Damian Woodward said: "We are pleased to support National Family Week and help families explore new places around England."
