I'm using HOME 2.7.6.2056 with an XXL 540.
After first install, I was unable to log in to my account (some strange error about contacting servers). However, I was able to check for map updates and I successfully updated my quickGPSfix files.
I installed HOME again, and now it logs me in correctly at startup.
However, I now cannot perform updates, is this related to the Map Update problems that everyone is having?
Here's the error message:

The following problem occurred. You can continue, but functionality may not be available. Error when contacting server: Fobidden.

A large segment of the U.S. TT servers are down - toast - offline today. TT hopes tomorrow will be a better day. At present, you'll get limited functionality from Home.

Ok, no problem. I'll try again tomorrow. How will I know when the servers are back up again, did you check a server status page to find that out, or do we have to email them each time this sort of thing happens?
 
Emailing CS is normally a waste of time. Try logging in again today to see if the situation has improved.
