FM transmitter help

1. Is there any program that will allow phone calls to be sent through the transmitter to the car speakers as the internal speaker really isn't that loud?
2. For best reception, should the unit be placed above or below and how close to the radio?
3. Are lower frequencies better or higher frequencies?

2. It's a transmitter, the less between the TT and the radio's antenna the better.
3. They all work well for me, the only factors I've had to adjust for are when
going to an area that has a broadcast station on a freq close to the one I'm
using, it can interfere a little so I change the freq when needed.

Search the forum for more on FM transmitter issues. Basically, turn the volume all the way up and find a station that has nothing on either side of it. If you live in Los Angeles, it's not easy. If you live in the country, it's easy. I haven't noticed a difference in quality between low and high frequencies. It's more a function of not having other stations nearby.
