Flashing screen

So far my new 720 has done everything I've needed it to. I recently took it on a business trip and it was great not having to try and read a map while driving. My only concern is that every now and then the screen begins to cycle through the different color schemes. It will do this for a couple of minutes, then everything will go back to normal. Has anyone ever experienced this before? Thanks

Are you sure you are not experiencing the screen change from day-->night-->day colours with the preference set for doing so to automatic? That may explain it.
