Hey guys, got my GO720 back in October and didn't even know such a forum existed! I've been reading about adding VR on the device, but it seems you need a certain firmware which are in the 7.xx range. Where can you find this information because all i see is 2.00.370 for version through TTHome -> Help -> System Information.

Thanks,
Stan

You are looking at the wrong information. Tap the satellite bars on your unit. On the next screen it'll show the current firmware version installed (tap THAT screen and the next screen shows the current map(s) version number and build).

Got it! Thanks!

Sorry, but there's another problem now. My map's current version is 7.05, but when i go to updates, it says my map is up to date. How do i change it to 7.10?
Thanks

NVM: did a search and it appears to be the same for other people... i'm guessing i'm out of the 30days for the latest map guarantee...so would i have to purchase the new map?

Yes. But the one you want now is 7.15; it's the latest. Try doing so through TTHome Add Maps/Voices icon. Tip: If you have a sdhc card of 2 or 4 gigs formatted for fat 32, your life will be much easier.
