Hi everyone.
Im Gazza & i'm from Birmingham UK.
Thought i'd best be polite & introduce myself.
The reason for joining seems to be a common one. I'm trying to find answers as to why my 'Lifetime' Map updates & Traffic etc is now not actually a lifetime.
It seems i have found my answer & although i'm not entirely happy about it. I'll just have to suck it up.

The two models you show in your profile aren't EOL yet - both are still supported.
Do you own others - older ones - whose memory sizes can't manage current map sizes?

Tomtoms interpretation of "Lifetime" is about 10 years. So when you buy a Tomtom with lifetime anything you are going to die in 10 years, we're all doomed

When Tomtom talks about a lifetime guarantee, it's not about your life
but compared to that of GPS, the lifespan of new GPS systems is very short.
