I updated my US map, then began to update my Europe map.
My TomTom only has 4gB of memory, so I was asked to select the US map to remove.
Instead, I did a manual removal of the US map using the "Manage" option in TomTom Home. This was successful.
Then, I updated the Europe 2gB and it installed correctly.
Now, here is the problem:
My unit now only recognizes the Europe map and has no mention of the US map. The map is on my computer, but TomTom Home has no option to upload it to my TomTom using Home.
So, I have just done a restore and got my unit back to where it was prior to removing the US map.
How am I supposed to manage both of these maps using TomTom Home, or am I better off avoiding what may be crappy software and doing it manually?
So far, I would not recommend TomToms to anyone.
