Eliminating test route ??

Have set up a test route on my 510 that I cannot get rid of now. Everytime I turn it on, the route is displayed, and the voice activates every now and then announcing that I am still at my home location. I have gone into the 'Navigate to' option and on 'Recent destination' and then delete all prior destinations ... now with the result that 'Recent destination' is rightfully grayed out.

But the markings on the route are still shown. I recall, some time back, finding a click function that did in fact drop off this route. But, as an elder, it appears that AZ is setting in these days .... as I cannot seem to find that click now.

Can someone guide me please.

PS: I also know that if I take this route in driving, when I arrive it will in fact drop off; but I don't want to have to get out and drive 900 miles or so just to get it to drop off.

That, I think, is what I recall from before; but cannot seem to find it again. I just scanned thru the menus. Any suggestion?
