ECLIPSE TWO
Eclipse two installed in Toyota Yaris 2011 and informed me that update is required. Connected to computer, but told insufficient memory available. Tried deleting Western Europe and installing, Option 3 Northern Zone only but it all went haywire. Reset device and on computer it all looks fine and TomTom home recognises that everything is up to date and working correctly. However, screen on Eclipse Two states "No maps found" and I cannot find or follow any clear instructions to
get device working properly again. Can you please advise.

Do you have a backup of the content of the card before you attempted the update?

With the card inserted into your PC, under "Manage my device", what does Home show for maps in "Items on device" and "Install Items from computer"?

Thanks for your reply, but no card in Eclipse two when car purchased in 2012, and no back up on my computer. I feel the information is still on the Eclipse Two, but how can I or anyone more computer literate access that information.
Your advice is very much appreciated

You say that your Eclipse screen doesn't say: "No maps found." TomTom Home must have asked you to make a backup.

Look in => Documents => TomTom folder. You should have a full backup of your TomTom. => Click Home => Click Internal or Backup.

My recollection of the Eclipse II is that it had ZERO internal memory, and that therefore all was managed from the SD card alone when it was installed into a card reader on a PC running Home. Without the card, there wouldn't even be an operating system on the Eclipse II, much less a map.
