does tomtom units work with MICRO SD CARDS w/ adapter?

i am getting a tomtom XL-S unit that has an sd card slot and i was wondering if these tomtom units work with thos tiny MICRO SD cards that cell phones use that come with the SD ADAPTER?

to be more specific... the 2gb regular (non high capacity) MICRO SD CARDS with their SD ADAPTER... will it work?

Anything that can use a SD card should be able to use a MicroSD card with the adapter. Just be sure to stay below 2GB unless the device specifically supports SDHC cards.

My TomTom doesn't have an SD slot or else I'd try it, but I'm confident it will work.
