I tested out IQroutes on routes.tomtom.com (beta) and was disappointed that it did not do a good job in Boston.
In Boston major planned highways were abandoned at the last minute and replaced with trains in the 70's/80's. This resulted in a number of communities forced to use sideroads only in their commute. In my particular commute, the most direct sideroad has tons of rush hour traffic, and other sideroads don't. I was disappointed that IQroutes ran me straight through the direct sideroad. Hundreds of Boston commuters take these sideroads hourly, so I'm sure there's no shortage of historical tomtom-user data.
Does IQroutes only process main road data? Do they deliberately exclude side roads (eg: to reduce map filesize) even if there is sufficient hourly data?
