Do not show trip detail screen...

I have a feature question.
Is there any way to disable the trip detail screen that shows up when you plot a destination? I always have to press "Done" to get my TOMTOM to show me my current position. I never read the screen so I just want it turned off.

Just a tip, you actually don't have to press done. You can just tap tap the map and it will go away. I know its not exactly what you are looking for but at least you don't have to aim your tap on the bottom right (or left if you are left handed) of the screen.

As far as I know, you can not disable it.

In my 720, I have the option to have it automatically cancel that screen after ten seconds.. also not quite what you are looking for, though.

I think this option came with NAV 7...... I didn't notice it before, but now have it.
