What makes you think they wont steal the compass globe?
Seriously, if you let me know your GPS location when you plan to leave your car parked, with no locks, and no car alarm, I would definitely do the honors of helping you with that special order.Personally, I wish someone would steal my GO700 -- then I could justify getting the GO720 (or 920).
Cool modification. But I gotta ask, why would anyone go through the trouble of stealing just the GPS mount without the GPS in it?
Thanks 'Biggles_downunder' for this suggestion. I added the same thing in attempts to disguise my TT mount. I found a cheap compass for around $3 at Walgreens here in the U.S. Using a stencil I made by pressing a small piece of paper against the back of my TT-ONE with my fingers, I then traced it onto a piece of plastic to fit the mount (old VHS plastic case). Here's a couple of picturesI made up this little gizmo to disguise my mount when I remove my ONE when I leave the car in a carpark.
