dim display

hello, i am new here but my problem is with my 920t the display when turned on is so dim i can not see it but the sound works, i have replaced the battery that did not help, any ideas?

Go to 'Change Preferences' menu , you'll find option to adjust brightness.
For the moment try to use only 'Day' brightness and adjust it to your taste.

Do you have the newest application (8.351) installed on the unit?

Had the same problem with my 930. Was within warranty. Call TomTom service. We played the usual games, but was given a RMA #. Was a fast turn-around. Five days from my shipping until receiving a refurbished unit. Am pleased with it and no problems in two month's use so far...
