I have a GO 5100. When I open MyDrive I see that I have three updates available but I also see that I am not connected. According to the TomTom itself I am connected. I have uninstalled MyDrive and reinstalled it but without success. I have never had this problem before.

Since you are reporting both connection problems and charging problems (in your other thread) when connected to your PC, I'd see if another cable helps things any. There could also be an issue with the USB port. If your computer has ports on both back and front panels, try one on the back if you've been using a front port.

Although MyDrive tells me I am not connected my GPS says that I am. It also tells me I am logged in to MyDrive. There is a little notice at the bottom right of the GPS screen which says Stop Syncing, which implies that I am, in fact, syncing. Also, when i remove the GPS from the computer by pulling out the USB cable I get a message telling me that the GPS is not getting power and will shut down in a few seconds. Doesn't all that suggest that the cable is OK? As I may have mentioned earlier, I have never had this problem before.
