Different version maps

My tomtom go 300 shows Application 7,903 and UK map version 562. but when connected to my computer via tomtom home it shows I have UK maps version 562 and my updated version 845.2 is it safe to delete the earlier version 562 and just leave the 845.2 version.

Home is unreliable when it comes to showing accurate version numbers of anything.

Use Explorer to look at the contents of your unit. In the specific map folder will be a file with a suffix named the same as the map folder and the extension is .pna. It is a text file, look at it with Notepad and it'll show what map version is installed on the unit.
