Device wont turn on

hello went to replace battery in my tom tom
GO 60
VD4034G01332 when i took off the screen the white piece broke off i am thinking this might have something to do with it any of you guys know any one who repairs if i can send it to someone love this device any help thanks (e-mail address removed)

Unfortunately, TomTom has no repair center in the U.S.
Can you better describe what this 'white piece' was that fell off? Hopefully it's not the latch that holds the connector between the screen and the motherboard!

yes its the white piece that broke off

If the latch broke off, you have a big problem on your hands. That little latching lever only needs to be lifted ever so slightly to release the flex cable. If you lift enough to break it, there's no easy way to replace it.
