Hi all, I have recently converted a CSV database into a custom POI file using POIbase. I've imported them into mydrive and they have synced with my unit and are there to see, search and plan, however, this is not true for the PC-based mydrive web interface.
I can see my favourites on the map but none of the custom POI's.
I've searched previous posts on this issue and a reference is made to an option to make custom POI's visible, unfortunately, I cannot find an option within the mydrive program to do this.
I wish to use my database to plan routes and would find it easier to click on the map location instead of searching in the text field.
I've attached a screen grab.
Thanks for your help in advance.

I don't know of any way of making *.ov2 files visible on the TT web map. They can be downloaded back from the system using the little down arrow to the left of the trash can when you hover your mouse over one of your *.ov2 files, but that's the only thing that I know that will retrieve the information, much less display it.

Like you, I find myself in need of a visual planning tool. My own way of dealing with this is to use Garmin's MapSource or Basecamp mapping/planning app after converting the *.ov2 file to a *.gpx, which is fairly easily done. I then plan my routes with one of those two Garmin tools.

Hadn't noticed before.
Clicking the Download arrow next to a POI category I am getting a new tab with an XML file.

Tried to cut+paste but the leading dash at Error and HostID do not copy.

Strange. When I hit the download arrow next to my custom POI, I am provided a download copy of the *.ov2 file.
Not sure why you're getting an 'Access Denied' error on your own file. Do you have more than one to try?

That was the third one I tried after closing and opening My Places.

After boot up this morning it now treats the ov2 like a PDF when clicking the drop down arrow.

Thanks for the reply, it's disappointing that such a basic but time-saving feature is not available without using another satnav company's software.
I have managed a workaround, it's not ideal but I am using the unit to plan the route, entering the last customer (destination) first then adding stops on the way, when finished I reorder the stops into the best route then save it.
My main issue with TT web map is that when you use the search box for a business, even though my TT has only European maps, it gives me every business with the same name in the whole world! This slows things down greatly. I also find that some addresses searched for cannot be found, very frustrating when trying to plan a delivery route.
My database contains 99% of my destinations, it would be great to plan using this, and this alone in TT web map.
If there are any settings I can change to narrow down the search field, using only the UK, Europe, or just my POI Database I'd be glad to be informed.
Regards

Yeah, it's always been annoying to have to use a 3rd party tool to do decent POI management. Unfortunately, that's how it's always been, though it was a little better way back in the "Nav2" days when you could create/edit custom POI right on the device.
