Finally finished the mount for my 910 and got some paint to match my dash. Spent less than $10 to construct. After finishing it I found some thing very similiar except offset to the left about 1 inch. It is very sturdy and acceptable vibration on rough roads.

I sill want to know the exact part you purchased :D

I purchased a 3 foot piece of 1 1/8 X3/8 steel at the local hardware (dip galvanized, a .75 cent scrap of 1/4 inch Plexiglas at Lowes, a $2.96 can of flat gray primer at walmart. Think the steel bar was $5.14. Bent it in a vise to desired shape and inserted it into a/c dash vent surround. Still have enough material to make another in case I want to try something different.
