Crashing problem on Refurb unit

I just got a tomtom one refurb from amazon.com.
Turns out the SD card is corrupted. The unit reboots itself occasionaly and can't calculate routes and has other problems.
I discover there was something wrong with the SD card when I tried to do a backup. The map file, cline.dat couldn't be copied because it is corrupt. I ran chkdsk onthe SD card's file system, and it reported that the file was corrupt, plus other problems. Hopefully, I can get replacement files from customer service. I'm just posting this thread in case others have the same problem.

Sorry to hear that, but thank you for sharing your experience.

If you had a backup from the old unit, it should work on the new one (you may need to re-activate the map). But i would guess if you had you would have tried it already.
