cracking voice

I am on vacation and am using my 920 for the first time. It is fantastic but at times, the voice cracks and breaks up. For the most part, it is fine and doesn't do it. Does it have anything to do with the location when it happens? I was on an overpass so it got plenty of signal.

I have read on here that doing a reset may fix the garbled voice.
(Unfamiliar with 920, but this is what I did to reset my XL-S...)
Turn off GPS, use paperclip to push reset button in and hold it, turn on GPS, let go of reset button.

A low battery level can cause this.

Plug it in and charge up.

The battery was pretty much fully charged and only on for about 30 minutes when this happened. I will try the reset if it happens again.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I have noticed this issue in the past (Susan voice) but it seems to only happen when speaking road names and is more prevalent (sp?) when speaking road names that are more than one syllable or word. IE Main Street would sound fine, but Dutch Village Road would start garbling up a bit...
Could be an issue with being the speed of the SD card? I guess I will have to play around with using the SD and not, to see if I hear a difference.
