Hi All, I just joined because I am struggling with the correct time on my Rider 550. I am in the UK and it appears stuck on GMT and I cant see any way of setting British summer time (GMT+1)
I am sure I am just missing something? Any guidance gratefully received. Thanks. Neil

Hi
Is the triangle that indicates your current position grayed out?

Well I just downloaded the new release of maps and took the bike out for a ride. Now showing the correct time BST !! Weird😳

All good now. Triangle is blue and correct time after downloading latest maps! Maybe that did the reset it needed?
Any chance it had been a long while since you had fired up your 550, and after doing so this time, the chevron WAS gray for a while?

It was new out of the box 2 weeks ago so I guess it had been switched off since manufacturing. I really can’t remember whether the cursor was grey back then. All good now.

Ah, new out of box means that it needed as much as 10 minutes of clear sky to pick up its first 'almanac' from a satellite, and figure out where you were, and sort out the location/time. This can also happen if the device isn't used for a prolonged period of time, or if you take it to a distant location and turn it on there after running it elsewhere.
