Copy Go720 maps to TomTOm One XL

I have a TomTOm Go720 with the latest available maps on it. Is it possible for me to copy these to a TomTom One XL ?

Unfortunately no.

Maps are device specific. They are assigned to the GPS according to device code -- like a serial number. This is to prevent theft or piracy.
