CONTINUED AVAILABILITY OF MAPS FOR AUSTRALIA...'Go Supreme' unit.

I live in Australia and own a TOM TOM 'Supreme' 6" Screen GPS and love it...however only World Maps are available to Australian users..as the devices are no longer being sold here.

Is there any company or organisation that could provide updated Maps for installation in TOMTOM GPS units ?.
If TOMTOM decides it no longer wants to support my model..there may be alternatives..but what ?.
Where do the Road Maps come from ?. Exclusively from TOMTOM or supplied elsewhere ?.
Updated ones for Australia will be needed..but from where ?.

Can anyone advise me ?.

GO Supreme has lifetime updates so Tomtom has an obligation to provide you with map updates.
No, it is not possible to install any other map other than the one provided by Tomtom.

You can load and/or update any piece of the world that is offered to you on your Supreme. The 'world' won't fit, so there must be some smaller regional bits available. You should have no problems ordering up both regions and many individual countries right on your device.

My equivalent device (GO 620) shows Australia available separately - 552MB in size. New Zealand is also being offered separately - 114MB in size.

Connect your Supreme to a WiFi connection and add/delete/update pieces as you see fit. Just be sure to leave at least one map region resident.
