I have a Rider 1st version which I'm trying to connect to a Midlands BT1, The rider says it has found the BT1 and is ready to use... But I will Not connect just shows a ? over the icon.
Rider will connect to Samsung mobile phone but Not the BT1 and the BT1 will connect to the Samsung .
What am I doing wrong,?

Your Midland BT1 supports A2DP, so it should make the connection.

You don't say if the pairing process between the BT1 and Rider 1 was successful. How did you make out with page 7 of your BT1 manual recommendations?

Alternately, it could be that one of the devices isn't happy about more than one concurrent A2DP connection, so can you give it a try with the Samsung phone BT turned off entirely, or placed some considerable distance away from your test such that the Samsung can't connect to either?

I have turned off the Samsung phone and Still the Rider unit will pick up the BT says connecting to headset and just shows a ? Over the icon, I'm sure it's something simple but I can't seem to get it working!
Could there be a software issues or maybe I'm a bit Thick

Hi Again, I don't know if have done it ButI have established a connection with my Rider & BT1 intercom ☺ and it works perfectly! I reset both items and swore at them both in my best Yorkshire accent "Work" and as if by magic A Working GPS which if we are ever free from Lock Down I shall Ride again

Thanks. . Dave
