Connecting to computer

Forgive me for not finding this topic, but is there a way to connect the 930 to the computer without resetting the unit's bottom button each time?

The device should need resetting each time you connect to the PC, what version of software (Navcore) have you got installed to the unit, tap the sat strength meter followed by the version box, do this directly on the device not via Home otherwise the number you get won't be correct - Mike

It's such an old and common problem for many of us, we don't even think about it - we just do it.

My 720 with 8.351 requires a pin reset to make the mass storage connection about 50% of the time. Without that, it simply powers up as though there were no USB cable connected. There's actually a fat paper clip sitting right next to my keyboard now that is dedicated to the job.
