Connecting Go730 with LG VX8360

I have tried connecting this phone in every conceivable fashion to this GPS. Verizon even replaced the phone. The GPS will connect to other types of phones. I can get a Bluetooth connect but when I try to place a call, phone is disconnected. It will receive though. Anyone have any good ideas?? HELP!! I work on a military base and need hands free.

You may have diferent version of Bluetooth between the cell and Tom Tom.

LG phones are notoriously incompatible with Tomtoms.

Two things sometimes have helped other members:
1) downgrade to app 8.302 (see here), or
2) try having the LG search for the Tomtom at the same time that the Tomtom is searching when pairing, sometimes that works better

Fixed phone connection

I loaded the previous version of Tom Tom software and, Hallelujah, the phone and TomTom worked like a dream. I down load the previous file and used free WinRAR to extract to the GO730. One set of directions said to delete the root files, no folders, but since I could not determine what those were, I just let it update. It seemed to work great. In fact, I turned on my TomTom and put it in my pocket as I was going to work. It auto connected and Pocket Dialed my house and woke up my wife.
