One of our Onev3 units for stolen so looking for a replacement. Picked up the older (from whats out now) One XL from staples for 199.97, marked as clearence. Checked out Futureshop and they turn out to be selling the current XL 330 for the same price of $200.

So which is the better of the two for $200? I can't find any comparing articles online (probably due to how similar the names are).

Can anyone provide some clarification on these 2 models and what one is actually the better deal?

Thanks :)

Seeing you're still without a response, I'll give it a try...

The XL 330 is a newer model that mainly differs from the XL in that it does not seem to have an SD slot. The newer model is said to have a better speaker and mount.

I ordered a 4GB SD card for my XL-S within a month of getting it. I've always considered one never has too much storage space and the amount of free space on the internal memory of the XL-S was rather limited. Personally, I would not get a TT model without the SD slot or storage increase possibility.

As for the mount, many people here who use their TT a lot seem to eventually get a custom one.

As for my speaker, I can't complain as it's only used for driving directions and consider most moving cars to be lousy for high-fi listening.
